What is Crystal Therapy?

Crystals are living, growing minerals that work on many levels.  They absorb the mineral content of the earth they grown and can contain iron, magnesium, copper etc., which over time, when placed in direct contact with the body, subtley and gently transfers this to the physical body.  Crystals have the ability to hold and emit energy vibrations and are used to draw and amplify light and color to the body's aura, thereby raising its vibrational frequency and facilitate healing.

Crystals can also be used to bring peace and harmony to the home and help with personal issues.  They can also safely be used on animals. 

Crystal therapy dates back to the Incan, Egyptian & Atlantean civilizations. In this healing practice quartz crystals, and other stones are placed on or around a fully clothed person to induce deep relaxation, release stress, physical pain, release energy blockages, and harmonise vibrational frequencies.

Crystals may be used singly or combined in patterns (grids). They can be passed through the energy bodies (the aura), placed on or around sites of pain, acupuncture points or meridians or on energy vortexes called the chakras.

Grid Layouts

With a Crystal Grid Layout the client is usually laying fully clothed on a cushioned floor area.  Chosen crystals are placed on & around the client in a set pattern while negative and stagnent energy is removed from the layers of the aura.  Depending on the type of layout, the client can remain in the pattern for up to an hour and a half promoting a deep state of relaxation.

An advanced grid layout involves the use of over 50 crystals and can be a deep and powerful experience and therefore is not recommended as a first crystal layout treatment. 

Wand Healing

This treatment involves the client being comfortably seated on a chair while negative & stagnent energies are cleansed from the energy bodies with a clear quartz crystal. A quartz/amethyst wand is further passed through the aura to re-energise and seal any gaps found in the energy body.

The client may also choose to work on a specific condition with a chosen crystal to promote healing & to energise or provide enlightenment.

With intuition & guidance colours are brought in for healing.

This treatment can often promote clarity of thought with renewed energy levels.

Chakra Balancing

The Chakras are energy wheels or vortexes that control the flow of energy through the body from head to base.  If any of the chakras are not flowing freeling this can affect how you deal with life's daily issues, how you feel about yourself and react and respond to others.  It can also affect how susceptible you are to physical ailments.

By balancing and clearing the chakras this will allow your own natural energy to flow more freely within you and bring your body & mind into harmony.

• Wand Healing 45 mins to 1 hour
• Chakra Healing 45 mins (can be combined with Reiki)
• Grid Layout 45 mins to 1.5 hours

Who is Crystal Therapy suited for?

Crystals can be used by anyone of any age, although it is not recommended to give them to small children or babies. 

For those that have not experienced the power of crystals, a wand healing or basic grid layout is recommended as the full grid layout can be an extremely powerful experience.

Crystals can be used for relaxation or revitalisation, to treat areas of pain and bring peace and harmony to you and your surroundings.
